NIT Selection Process
For admission in B.Tech course, NIT Srinagar selects candidates on the basis of JEE Main scores, similar to what all NITs do. It was established in 1948 as University of Jammu and Kashmir, and was bifurcated in 1969, thus giving birth to two new full-fledged universities, University of Kashmir and University of Jammu.
