Once the registration process will be completed; then CBSE will conduct the exam on 08th April 2018 (Offline Exam) and 15th & 16th April 2018 (Online Exam); after that JEE Main score card will be released by CBSE. Through Scorecard students will eligible for admission process in  top engineering colleges in various courses.

  • CBSE will start the application process from 1st December 2018.
  • Before applying for the JEE Main 2018; Candidates must read all the instructions carefully as given in Information bulletin and check their eligibility.
  • CBSE will also provide a correction window for application form.
  • Keep handy the scanned copy of passport size photographs and signature the or registration process.
  • Images should be only in JPG and JPEG Format.
  • CBSE also provides book exam slot facility to the candidates.
  • Once you have successfully submitted the application fee; it is advised to every student to take a printout for acknowledgement purpose.

JEE Main Application Fee:  

There are only two modes provided for application fee submission i.e. online or offline mode. You can pay through credit card or debit card in online mode or through e-challan of Syndicate/Canara/ICICI Bank available in offline mode.There is no other mode is available for application fee submission. JEE Main 2018 Eligibility Criteria:

We have listed all the important details about eligibility criteria below:

  • Candidates who have passed or have appeared in the 12th or equivalent exam in 2016 & 2017 will be eligible.
  • Candidates who have appeared with 5 subjects (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, English and one other elective subject) will be eligible.
  • Candidates whose Date of Birth fall on or after 1st October 1993 will be eligible (Five-year relaxation will be provided to SC/ST candidates).
  • For admission into IITs,  NITs, and  CFTs; a candidate needs to secure 75% marks (65% Marks for SC/ST Candidates). There are no minimum criteria for appearing in JEE Main.
  • Aadhar Card is mandatory for the Registration process.
  • Candidates can appear three times.

How to apply for JEE Main 2018?

Given below are some simple steps for the application process:

  • Go to the official site (Click here).
  • Click on “Apply for JEE Main 2018” button.
  • Read the instructions given here carefully and then click on “Proceed to Apply Online”.
  • Fill the required details (Name, Father’s Name, Date of Birth etc.) which are asked in the Application form.
  • Again on next page, you have to fill the educational details.
  • Once you fill all the details, then review your application form.
  • Once you verify, then click next.
  • Upload your recently clicked passport size photograph and signature.
  • Click on the browse button provided and upload your scanned images.
  • Click on final upload.
  • Again review your application form.
  • Click on the payment button.
  • Pay the application fee with any one of the modes which suits you the best.
  • Keep a printout of your application form for further communication.

Question: My name in Aadhaar Card and School records is different. From which form can I fill JEE Main Application Form?

You need to submit a correction request at Aadhaar card center and fill your application form through 14 digits enrollment number which you receive from the Aadhaar center after successful correction request.

Question: I belong from Assam. I don’t have any Aadhaar card. How can I apply?

You need to apply for passport number, local ration card number, bank account number or any other govt. identity number.

Question: While filling JEE Main application form, I made a mistake. Can I correct it?

Yes, you can.The conducting authority also provides the correction facility to aspirants.

Question: I have not entered my name and date of click in the uploaded photographs. Do I need to correct it?

No, it is not necessary as per the CBSE FAQs. CBSE already cleared that if a candidate has not mentioned name and date of click in the photographs then the application form will not be rejected.

Question: Do I need to upload scanned thumb impression on the application form?

No, there is no need to upload thumb impression.

Question: I am NIOS students, Can I apply for JEE Main?

Yes, NIOS students can apply.

Question: Can I pay JEE Main Application fee through demand draft?

No, Demand draft is not allowed for fee submission.
