Finally Indian Institute of technology Kanpur will be going to organize JEE Advanced 2018 Exam on May 20. This is announced by Prof. Shalabh on an interview with Amar Ujala. In 2017; it had organized by IIT Madras.Last year the exam was held on May 3rd. The meeting held on Sunday 17 September between JEE Advanced Organizing chairman Prof. Shalabh, JAB Chairman, Prof. Indranil Manna the meeting ends with the declaration JEE Advanced 2018.
The exam date is now confirmed and goes only online mode.
The exam will be conducted only on online mode. Now JEE Exam Cell is now working upon to finalize all event which is required for the examination.
IIT Madras director and chairman JAB 2017, Prof said in last month,” The JEE Advanced will be conducted in online mode only from 2018 onwards. Further information will be declared soon by JAB.
Last year 11,00,000 applicants applied for JEE Main only 2,20,00 are qualified for JEE advanced. Last year only 1,59,540 applicants had taken JEE Advanced exam out of the 2,20,000 applicants. Out of these JEE Main qualified applicant, only 50,455 applicants are qualified, only 7,137 are female where 43,318 are male. The percent between male and female are 86% and 14%. In this year the number goes increased and 4000 more candidates will be eligible for JEE Advanced 2018.

JEE advanced will be organized for taking admission in 23 IIT’s colleges for undergraduate Engineering courses. JEE is the main gateway for IIT’s, NIT’s, ISM Dhanbad and other centrally funded technical institutes.
The organizing IIT prepare the question paper, answer key, result declaration and also handles the JEE Portal.The JAB is the structure making on IIT Admissions. Earlier HRDM declared the exam mode which will be in online mode.The JEE Main Exam Date declared by CBSE on 22nd November 2018. Offline exam will be conduct on 08 April 2018 and Online Exam will be conduct on 15th & 16th April 2018.
